I am staring at the empty space
That was once a busy place
People running to and fro
Each on their own brisky pace.

All of them have gone home,
To a person who they truly belong
I wish I could come home to you
And cuddle you when I felt so blue

Life has been such a thorny road
Petals and flowers, so it showed
Hiding the pain that lied beneath
Bleeding my heart until death.

I wish you were here
Sitting next to me
Staring at the stars above
Talking of the things we love.

Very touching poem .... perhaps I wouldn't call it nice, because it exudes so much of sadness .... but very touching indeed.

PM, I have always been around :-))
But I am a great follower of the advise - if you have nothing to say, say nothing :-)
So, sometimes, when I think I cant add anything useful or amusing to the discussion I keep quiet :-D
